Our Father’s Day Scape featured on our Decor8tive Tables page, showcases the array of careers held by many dads.

No matter their professions or hobbies, fathers are the heads of our households …our first male role models, our providers, our protectors. They taught us how to ride our bikes, and when old enough, how to drive. They taught us about sports, then coached our sports teams. They entertained our friends with magic tricks, then informed us of their secrets once no one was around. They are the Master of the Grill as well as Mr. Fix-It. They scrutinized our boyfriends, and when ‘Mr. Right’ came along, walked us down the aisle. And no matter how much we age, their role as dad never waivers, as they are always there to offer advice or lend financial support.

Our “dads” may hold different prefixes like step, foster, grand, or even single. But no matter the category they fit into; they always hold the keys to our hearts.

The calendar has chosen the official day to honor dads on the third Sunday in June, but like our mothers, fathers should be honored as often a possible throughout the year.
